In compliance with the duty of information contained in Article 10 of Law 34/2002, of July 11, Services of the Information Society and Electronic Commerce, we inform you that the Website and Internet portal https://bebs.org/ (hereinafter the “Web”) is owned by BARCELONA EXECUTIVE BUSINESS SCHOOL S.L, with registered office at TORROELLA DE MONTGRI ,23 BJ with CIF nº B66196841. This legal notice regulates the conditions of use of the aforementioned Internet portal.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

In general, the relationship between BEBS and the users of its telematic services, present on the web, are subject to Spanish legislation and jurisdiction.

The parties expressly waive the jurisdiction that may correspond to them and expressly submit to the Courts and Tribunals of Barcelona to resolve any dispute that may arise in the interpretation or execution of these contractual conditions.

User acceptance

This Legal Notice regulates access and use of the website that BEBS makes available to Internet users. A user is considered to be the person who accesses, navigates, uses or participates in the services and activities of the website.

The user is informed, and accepts, that access to this website does not in any way imply the beginning of a commercial relationship with BEBS.

Access to the website by users is free of charge. Some services may be subject to prior contracting of the service.

The visit to the website by the user must be made in a responsible manner and in compliance with current legislation, good faith, this Legal Notice and respecting the intellectual and industrial property rights owned by BEBS or any other natural or legal persons.

The use of any of the contents of the website for purposes that are or could be illegal is totally prohibited, as well as any action that causes or could cause damage or alterations of any kind not consented to by BEBS, to the website or its contents.

The owner of the website does not identify with the opinions expressed on it by its collaborators. The company reserves the right to make unannounced changes it deems appropriate on its website, and may change, delete or add both content and services provided through the same as the way in which they are presented or located on its servers.

Intellectual and industrial property

The intellectual property rights of the content of the web pages, their graphic design and codes are the property of BEBS and, therefore, it is prohibited to reproduce, distribute, publicly communicate, transform or carry out any other activity with the content of the web page, even if the sources are cited, unless prior, express and written consent has been obtained from BEBS. All commercial names, brands or different signs of any kind contained in the company’s web pages are the property of their owners and are protected by law.

BEBS does not grant any license or authorization of use of any kind on their rights of intellectual and industrial property or any other property or right related to the website, and in no case shall it be understood that access and navigation of users implies a waiver, transmission, license or transfer of all or part of such rights by BEBS.

Any use of these contents not previously authorised by BEBS will be considered a serious breach of intellectual or industrial property rights and will give rise to the legally established responsibilities. BEBS reserves the right to exercise against the user the corresponding judicial and extrajudicial actions.

Responsibility and guarantees

BEBS declares that it has adopted the necessary measures that, within its possibilities and the state of technology, allow the correct functioning of its website as well as the absence of viruses and harmful components. However, BEBS cannot be held responsible for the following situations which are listed by way of example, but not limitation:

• The continuity and availability of the Contents.
• The absence of errors in the Contents or the correction of any defects that may occur.   The absence of viruses and/or other harmful components.
• The damage caused by any person who violates the security systems of BEBS.
• The use that users may make of the contents included in the website. Consequently, BEBS does not guarantee that the use that users may make of the contents included in the website, comply with this legal notice, nor that the use of the website is carried out in a diligent manner.
• The use by minors of the website or the sending of their personal data without the permission of their guardians, being the guardians responsible for the use they make of the Internet.
• The contents to which the user can access through unauthorized links or introduced by users through comments or similar tools.
• The introduction of erroneous data by the user or a third party.

BEBS may temporarily suspend, without prior notice, access to the website for maintenance, repair, updating or improvement operations. However, whenever circumstances allow, BEBS will inform the user, sufficiently in advance, of the date foreseen for the suspension of the contents.

Likewise, in compliance with articles 11 and 16 of Law 34/2002, of July 11, on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSICE), BEBS is committed to the elimination or, if applicable, blocking of content that could affect or be contrary to current legislation, the rights of third parties or public morality and order.

BEBS uses cookies, in order to optimize and personalize your navigation on the website. Cookies are physical files of information that are hosted in the user’s own terminal, the information collected through cookies serves to facilitate user navigation through the portal and optimize the browsing experience. The data collected through cookies may be shared with the creators of the same, but in no case will the information obtained by them be associated with personal data or data that can identify the user.

In the event that other websites link to the BEBS website, it will not be understood that BEBS has authorised the link or the content of the website where the link is contained, nor can inappropriate, defamatory, illegal, obscene or illicit content be included in the link page, or other content that is contrary to current legislation.

BEBS reserves the right to contact the owner of the website where the link is established if it considers that the regulations are being violated, as well as to exercise the corresponding legal and extrajudicial actions.
